Johnny Cash's Family And Label Speak Out Against White Nationalist Group
Universal Music Group and American Recordings issued cease and desist letters to white nationalist group Stormfront over their use of Johnny Cash's "I Won't Back Down" during their radio broadcasts. According to National Public Radio, UMG and American Recordings allege that Stormfront Radio was "unlawfully exploiting" Cash's version of the song without the appropriate permission.
