The Internet Is In Love With Reality TV Star & Influencer Spotted In Photo With Ron DeSantis After Ban On Lab-Grown Meat

Ron DeSantis

Nobody cared about the meat... Well, I guess some people did, because yesterday Florida governor Ron DeSantis signed a ban on the sale of lab-grown meat in his state. https://twitter.com/GeneralMCNews/status/1785685627532345579 But that's not what's important here. A photo posted with a tweet about the ban quickly caught the internet's attention, not for the subject at hand but for the blonde bombshell in the background. Even former NFL wide receiver (and one of the most unhinged follows on Twitter) took notice: https://twitter.com/AB84/status/1785801452759154832 https://twitter.com/megacheese14/status/1785737239479169142 https://twitter.com/JakeThirteenth/status/1785966203242000858 https://twitter.com/incognitoStunna/status/1785763243903893512 https://twitter.com/Ted_Trembley/status/1785867204891717662 https://twitter.com/cigarettesavior/status/1785774351083597992 Well of course the internet was able to quickly identify the girl, and it turns out that the photo was actually taken last year at the McBee Meat Company in Lamoni, Iowa. The blonde in the background is Calah Jackson, an outdoor influencer and star of the reality TV show The McBee Dynasty. The show, which apparently airs on Peacock, focuses on the family behind the farming and cattle business led by CEO Steven McBee Jr., who is seen in the green shirt beside DeSantis - and who happens to be Calah's boyfriend.

So while the good news it that the internet was able to quickly track her down, the bad news is that she's taken, boys.

Sea Of Thousands Of Reindeer Stop Traffic In Finland

Reindeer

Prepare to be mesmerized by a moving sea of reindeer. I'm not sure I've ever seen this many of the same animal all at once. If you factor in the fact that these reindeer are also all moving in unison, it's truly one of the coolest video's I've ever seen. Hopefully you feel the same way when you check it out. This footage is out of Lapland, Finland (I guess everything has to be "Something-Land" over there) where the reindeer apparently reign supreme. In all of Finland, the one area that is known for its reindeer population is Lapland. In fact, the reindeer actually outnumber the people that live in the region by about 20,000 (the total reindeer count is over 200,000). Lapland is also known for its snow buildings. For those wanting to experience igloos, ice saunas, and even a snow hotel, Lapland is the place for you. Being that it's a popular tourist region, having a traffic jam like this caused by the massive, sprawling reindeer population can cause some serious issues. However, when this big of a herd of reindeer are running together, it can also truly be a spectacle. Parts of this video don't even look real as it's difficult to determine where one reindeer stops and another one starts. It's as if they are all one moving sea of animal, and the tide just so happens to be taking them onto a main road in Lapland. The great migration taking place in this clip never stops. For all we know, this steady stream of reindeer could still be flowing across the road and holding up traffic to this day. I think I can speak for everyone when I say I'd rather be held up in traffic caused by something like this over regular traffic issues any day of the week. So go ahead and press play on this clip, then sit back and relax as the thousands of reindeer sprint down the hill and onto the flat roadway in front of cars. I don't know why it's relaxing, but it just is: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6Qrr6AImLd/?igsh=MW9lOGN1cTdud3FteQ==

Cody Johnson Shows Off His Team Roping Skills

Cody Johnson country music

A cowboy through and through. Country is more than a genre of music... it is a way of life, and no one embodies that more than Cody Johnson. While plenty of country stars know their way around on the farm and in the studio, Cody Johnson is one of the biggest names that highlights he is a cowboy on his off-days. We've written before that Johnson can walk the walk when in the team roping pen, but he just shared a clip on social media to remind people that he knows the way with a rope. Johnson captioned the video: "The best kind of day."  Johnson breaks out of the shoot on his sorrel horse, chasing after the steer, who is the header for his team. While Johnson might have clipped the video before he successfully roped the steer, I bet he made a clean throw. And even if he didn't...cut the guy a break... he doesn't get to play in the dirt very often.
@cojonationThe best kind of day. ♬ Dirt Cheap - Cody Johnson
Let us not forget that the lyrics of "Dear Rodeo" were not a fictional story but inspired by his life experiences. Johnson started riding bulls in high school. While he has taken a step back from the dangerous sport of bull riding, he has since picked up a rope and started team roping to keep his foot in the rodeo world. And boy, can he rope. Back in February, Johnson got his ticket punched to the World Series of Team Roping Finale, which is slated to take place in Las Vegas in December. He and his roping partner, Oliver, the duo's heeler, roped three at 26.53 seconds during the Cattle World Series of Team Roping Qualifier. The event occurred in Hamilton, Texas, and the two went home with a nice payout of $13,060. One of these days, I'd love to see Cody Johnson cut a version of Trent Willmon's "Ropin' Pen." It would be the perfect song for him since he knows he way with a rope, and Trent just so happens to be CoJo's producer and songwriting partner. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K5TitGhgKe0 In the meantime, it's only fitting to fire up "Dear Rodeo." https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RlwREmok31o

Zach Bryan Confirms New Album ‘The Great American Bar Scene’ Is Coming This Year

Zach Bryan country music

Okay, guys, I promise we are not pulling your leg this time... or at least I hope not. On April 1st, Whiskey Riff pulled off another great April Fools' Day prank, which honesty, thousands and thousands of people fall for every single year. Every think we think, "this isn't gonna work," and every year, we're pleasantly surprised at the amount of hate mail we get in the ol' inbox. This year, we announced that Zach Bryan had released his 3rd (professionally recorded) album, The Great American Bar Scene with a number of big features including Bruce Springsteen. We bamboozled the public and even the co-workers who help run our social media pages (It's me. I am said co-worker), and it was all just a huge ball of nothing. I mean, it was a perfect storm. At the time, ZB had already dropped the name, he just performed with the Boss, and wasn't using social media, so he wouldn't be able to refute the claim... it was a great prank. But that being said, our wish has been granted. ZB confirmed on Instagram recently that the album is, in fact, titled The Great American Bar Scene. "The record is called The Great American Bar Scene and I feel lucky to be breathin’." https://www.instagram.com/p/C598C2sr5oJ/ He has also been telling fans during his shows that he has an album dropping later "this year" titled The Great American Bar Scene. During his recent Omaha, Nebraska shows, a fan caught the moment he told the audience about his new album that is expected to drop later this year. "I, uh, have a new album coming out this year... it's called 'The Great American Bar Scene.' Cheers to you guys in Omaha, Nebraska. Thank you."

Social media users quickly filled the comments section, noting that he had said the same thing at their show throughout the Quttin' Time Tour.  "He also announced it in Toronto March 17th!" "He also announced it March 14 in Jersey." "He announced it the first night in Chicago." In late March, during a show in Alabama, he said he wasn't sure of the name yet, but I think we all had a hunch it would be something related to The Great American Bar Scene. Since returning to social media, Zach Bryan has noted in his captions that a new album is coming "soon," so fingers crossed he is being real this time. He also has put on his YouTube new songs like "28" and "Like Ida," so it seems promising that those two could appear on the tracklist of the alleged album. https://www.instagram.com/p/C6QSxaduYtA/ Time will only tell, but I hope we get it soon... time to wait this one out, boys...

Doug Gottlieb Thinks Caitlin Clark Needs To Fix “Mechanical Flaw” In Her Shooting Motion, & Literally Nobody Agrees

Caitlin Clark

Doug Gottlieb is one of the most puzzling personalities in the entire sports media landscape. Respect to him for grinding to where he is at this point, and on at least some of his segments and takes, I can understand where he's coming from. It's not like he has a .000 batting average. At the same time, there are several incidents that spring up from time to time where the guy just can't get out of his own way. Beyond the weird incidents in college where he stole credit cards, and had his shorts on inside out for a basketball game, he often shoots himself in the foot by going too far out on a limb. Or, you know, straight-up reporting lies and being sued for libel. Is it, like, calculated clockwork? We'll never know for sure. Maybe that's why Gottlieb continues to stay visible and relevant. There's something so bizarre, compelling, and hate-inducing to many about the guy that he can't help but remain a factor in the industry. Welp. We've arrived at another watershed "Gottlieb is a moron" moment. He's on X/Twitter trying to argue that Indiana Fever No. 1 overall pick Caitlin Clark, who's single-handedly lifted up the entire sport of women's basketball, is not an elite shooter. Nor does she have ideal shooting form. https://twitter.com/GottliebShow/status/1785439856396849490 https://twitter.com/GottliebShow/status/1785791376204169372 There are plenty of precise shooters who don't have "picturesque" fundamentals or the traditional mechanics that are attributed to a so-called prototypical jump shot. Clark is often compared to Steph Curry for her playmaking ability and limitless shooting range. Steph is unlike many of his peers in that he barely jumps when he shoots. Despite being the smallest player on the court most of the time, Chef Curry has had no trouble being the greatest shooter of all-time. Any of Iowa's opponents could key in on Clark. She made plenty of contested, long-range shots that were off the dribble. If anything, her transition to the WNBA should be aided by the presence of another No. 1 pick, reigning Rookie of the Year, Aliyah Boston. Clark should be able to flourish and keep defenses more honest by playing pick-and-roll with Boston, whose dominance in the frontcourt will make for a dynamic inside-outside combo for Indiana. So Gottlieb doesn't take into account the ridiculous volume or degree of difficulty of Clark's shots at Iowa when he contends that she isn't one of the best shooters in the world. Nor does he seem to grasp how more space might actually work to Clark's advantage given her skill set. Oh, and what about the fact that, in leading the Hawkeyes to the national title game for the second year in a row, she played all 40 minutes in four of the last five of those contests? As reliant as the Fever were on Boston last season, she only averaged 31.2 minutes a night. A little extra rest should go a long way, in my opinion, to aid Clark's transition to the pro level. Tripling down and comparing any sort of shooting deficiencies Clark might have to Kevin Durant was a bold by Gottlieb, all the while praising Larry Bird's unconventional stroke in the same figurative breath. https://twitter.com/GottliebShow/status/1785446702331384285 https://twitter.com/GottliebShow/status/1785880626627031221 All this nonsense about Caitlin Clark just makes Gottlieb come across like a contrarian blowhard... nobody is siding with him, and rightfully so. https://twitter.com/HeavensFX/status/1786058096860635159 https://twitter.com/NamesWashington/status/1785782613409472872 https://twitter.com/SportDunceDiary/status/1785778542631936346 https://twitter.com/EricLiIIy/status/1785829147635220630 https://twitter.com/CarolinaCardEx1/status/1785873971742662832 https://twitter.com/ACZE80/status/1785816428211556446 https://twitter.com/DegenerateTBone/status/1785828197411524670 https://twitter.com/MHogan19/status/1786005885057212815 https://twitter.com/OttosGrove/status/1785892435563782285 https://twitter.com/josh3302/status/1785820678521856317 https://twitter.com/Mfel1/status/1786024851784016071 Speaking of Steph Curry... https://twitter.com/PBAinsider/status/1786043642911834299 Roll the tape: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vp29No2xldk
